When Everything Felt Within Reach… Until It Didn’t
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by MS — the fatigue, the uncertainty, the quiet frustration no one else sees… you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve whispered in the dark, “Is this really me now?” or wondered, “What if I lose my friends because I simply can’t keep up?” Your questions matter. I see you.
who am I now?
Somewhere in that darkness… a quiet fire reignited!
When Everything Felt Within Reach… Until It Didn’t
Remember how life used to feel like a clear highway? Your career was humming along, your relationships felt grounded, and you’d start dreaming of what was next. Then those first little signals appeared: tingling fingers after a long day, unexpected numbness you brushed off as stress. Sound familiar? You told yourself it was nothing—just too many late nights or a hectic schedule.
But when the whispers turned into blurred vision, burning sensations, and unexplained weakness, you realized something deeper was happening. Hearing the words Multiple Sclerosis can feel like the ground giving way beneath you. All those plans you held onto? Suddenly, they seemed to vanish.
Finding That Spark Again
Yet even in the darkest moments, you get to choose how this story unfolds. Maybe you’ve asked yourself, “Can I still be the person I used to be?” That question lit a spark in me—and it can in you, too.
Over the last 25 years, my natural curiosity has been my lifeline. I’ve read, researched, experimented — everything from neuroscience to nutrition, from mindset tools to what athletes do to stay strong under pressure.
I became obsessed with understanding how my body — and my mind — actually work. How to support them. How to stay grounded, even when MS tries to pull the rug out from under me.
When the world slowed down during Covid, I finally had space to reflect. I looked at all the knowledge, the tools, the small daily habits I’d quietly collected — and I realized something… despite MS, I was thriving in ways I never expected.
That’s when Nessasways was born — from the messy, imperfect journey of figuring it all out, and the belief that no one with MS should have to face this alone.
It started with sharing my raw, unfiltered experience on Instagram, then through my Newsletter… and now, here, with this blog — your space to feel seen, to feel understood, and to gather real, simple tools to support your energy, your nervous system, your life.
Because MS doesn’t get to define you — unless you let it.
You’re allowed to want more than just surviving this. You deserve to feel strong, to move your body, to dream again — in your own way, on your terms.
If any of this speaks to your heart — if you’ve ever thought, “There must be another way…” — I’d love to share this journey with you.
